Now and Then

This series was born out of a personal digitization project (outlined in my Archival Work section), which began after discovering [by chance] hundreds of 35mm slides of photos my grandfather took in the 60s. While scanning, I quickly drew a parallel between his eye and mine through the lens of a camera, pairing images of similar themes that we took decades apart. While each image in its own right might not necessarily be spectacular to behold, there is an undeniable weight to them side-by-side.
